The Canton of Dun-sur-Auron is a French canton in the department of Cher and the region Center-Val de Loire . It includes 32 municipalities in the arrondissement of Saint-Amand-Montrond . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was significantly expanded in spring 2015.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Dun-sur-Auron included the 12 municipalities of Bussy , Chalivoy-Milon , Cogny , Contres , Dun-sur-Auron , Lantan , Osmery , Parnay , Raymond , Saint-Denis-de -Palin , Saint-Germain-des-Bois and Verneuil . Its layout corresponded to an area of 260.81 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 1812.
