The Canton Bourges-5 was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Bourges , in the department of Cher and the region Center-Val de Loire . It comprised part of its main town (French: chef-lieu ) Bourges and was dissolved when the nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons took place in March 2015. The last representative in the General Council of the Département was Jean-Pierre Saulnier for the years 1998–2015.
