The canton of Charenton-du-Cher was a French canton in the Cher department and in the Center-Val de Loire region until 2015 . It comprised nine parishes in the arrondissement of Saint-Amand-Montrond ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Charenton-du-Cher . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Pascal Aupy was last representative in the conseil général des Départements for the years 2011–2015.
