The canton of Argent-sur-Sauldre was a French canton in the Cher department and in the Center-Val de Loire region until 2015 . It included four parishes in the Arrondissement Vierzon ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Argent-sur-Sauldre . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Thierry de Montbel for the years 1998–2015.
