The Canton of Lignières was 2015 a French constituency in the department of Cher and the region Center-Val de Loire . It comprised nine parishes in the arrondissement of Saint-Amand-Montrond ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Lignières . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Janine Bernadet was the last representative in the conseil général des Départements for the years 2008–2015.
