The canton of Vailly-sur-Sauldre was a French canton in the Cher département and in the Center-Val de Loire region until 2015 . It included eleven parishes in the Arrondissement of Bourges ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Vailly-sur-Sauldre . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was for the years 1985–2015 Pierre Rabineau.
