The inhabitants are called Villecelinois .

Villecelin is about 33 kilometers south-southwest of Bourges . Villecelin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Baudel in the north, Venesmes in the east and northeast, Montlouis in the east and southeast, La Celle-Condé in the south and Chezal-Benoît in the west.
