geography
Jouet-sur-l'Aubois is located about 45 kilometers east-southeast of Bourges and about 13 kilometers northwest of Nevers on the Aubois and the Canal latéral à la Loire . The Loire limits the municipality to the east. Jouet-sur-l'Aubois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marseilles-lès-Aubigny in the north, Germigny-sur-Loire in the east and northeast, Cours-les-Barres in the south and east, Torteron in the south and Menetou-Couture in the west.
