The 2005/06 season was the 54th season of the Bulgarian Ice Hockey League , the highest Bulgarian ice hockey division . Akademik Sofia became champion for the first time in the club's history .

Awards
As the best goalkeeper of the season Konstantin Mikhailov from Akademik Sofia was chosen. The best defender was Kiril Petrow and the best striker Plamen Weselinow , both of whom also played for the champions.
