St. Agnes Church

Bunde ( Bung in Limburg ) is a village with around 5,415 inhabitants in the Dutch municipality of Meerssen not far from Maastricht and in the immediate vicinity of the Julianakanal . Until 1981, Bunde was an independent municipality.

A new church was built in 1960 according to plans by the architect Jozef Fanchamps after the old parish church, built in the Maasland Baroque, had become dilapidated.

In the hamlet of Voulwames , which consists of six houses , the Geul flows into the Meuse .
