Building description

Hanneke Beaumont , Melancholia I, 2009

The building has four floors. The brightly clinkered skeleton structure has a flat roof, a roof pavilion and a porch protruding at an angle. The main facade, which is parallel to the street, has a grid structure comprising 23 window units and a facade segment that has been left free. Behind it is the stairwell. The lintel is adorned with an abstract federal eagle made of metal. The administration building is an excellent example of New Objectivity , an architectural style from the early 1950s. For architectural and historical reasons, the house is a listed building.

The sculpture avenue is located in the green area next to the building
