The constituency of the Bundestag Meiningen - Bad Salzungen - Hildburghausen - Sonneberg was a constituency in Thuringia from 1990 to 2002 . He owned the number 306 and included the districts of Meiningen , Bad Salzungen , Hildburghausen and Sonneberg . As part of the constituency reform of 2002 , in which the number of constituencies in Thuringia was reduced from twelve to ten, the area of ​​the constituency was changed to the constituencies Suhl - Schmalkalden-Meiningen - Hildburghausen , Eisenach - Wartburgkreis - Unstrut-Hainich-Kreis I and Sonneberg - Saalfeld-Rudolstadt - Saale-Orla district divided.

The last directly elected constituency member was Wieland Sorge ( SPD ).
