Tanadak Island is an uninhabited island in the Rat Islands , part of the Aleutian Islands .
The island is located about 5 km east of Little Kiska Island and 12 km east of Kiska Island .
In 1852 the island was first recorded on the nautical charts by Michail Tebenkow . The Aleut name Tanadak indicates that the island was used as a burial site.
