Little Kiska Island is an uninhabited island of the Rat Islands and belongs to the Aleutian Islands . Like many other Aleutian islands, it was discovered in 1741 by the Russian explorer Vitus Bering .

The island is opposite Kiska Island or Kiska Harbor . The highest point on the island is 92 m above sea level.

meaning

During the Second World War, the island was occupied by the Japanese in June 1942 and evacuated in August 1943 ten days before it was liberated by the Allies.
