The Federal Association of Pulmonologists (BdP) is an association of specialists in pulmonary and bronchial medicine (= pulmonology ) or internists with the same branch. The association represents the interests of pulmonologists in medical professional policy. The BdP is an umbrella organization consisting of 12 regional associations and the “Federal Association of Pediatric Pneumology e. V. “(BAPP) bundles. It is not a registered association .

Goals and Activities

External impact

Pulmonologists organize themselves in the respective regional association of their area of ​​responsibility, which are bundled in the federal association. The regional associations organize medical training courses , which provide the CME points necessary for the medical profession via the regional medical associations . Membership in the regional association ensures that the costs are covered. The costs disbursed by the regional association are fully covered by the federal association, so that these costs are only a transitory item for the regional associations . Comprehensive training prevents treatment errors and helps avoid unnecessary risks.
