Burakcan Kunt or Burak Can Kunt (born May 15, 1992 in Cologne ) is a German - Turkish soccer player who has been under contract with the Turkish club Bucaspor since 2014 .
Career
societies
As a youth player, Kunt first worked for the clubs DJK Löwe and TuS Höhenhaus in Cologne before moving to 1. FC Cologne. In the 2008/09 season, Kunt finally moved to MSV Duisburg , for whom he first played in the U17 team and then in the U-19 team. On April 24, 2010, Kunt made his debut in German professional football with the first team of MSV Duisburg. The two-footed offensive midfielder, who was also eligible to play for the A-Juniors in the 2010/11 season, had a total of seven appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga and one game in the DFB Cup by summer 2011.
In the summer of 2013 he moved to the Turkish TFF 1st Lig for promoted Balıkesirspor . Without having played a competitive game for this club, he moved to the second division Bucaspor in the summer of 2014 .
National team
Kunt was a U-19 national player of Turkey and was part of the squad for the U-19 European Football Championship 2011 in Romania.
Others
Burakcan Kunt was accused in September 2011 of mocking the victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 with an entry on his Facebook page labeled " Mohammed Atta Airlines ". Mohammed Atta was one of the leading actors in the attacks of September 11, 2001. Kunt denied being the author of the entry and distanced himself from it, but took responsibility for his Facebook page. Thereupon Kunt was given an internal fine and a warning.
