The castle Hohengenkingen is an Outbound hilltop castle on 861  m above sea level. NHN in the district of Undingen in the southeast of the village of Genkingen, a part of the municipality of Sonnenbühl in the Reutlingen district in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle was built by the noble lords of Genkingen, who are mentioned several times in deeds of donation to the Zwiefalten monastery . The castle was mentioned in 1122 and destroyed in 1447.
