Kirchzarten Castle

The castle Kirchzarten is an Outbound medieval lowland castle (probably a Wasserburg ) about 1000 meters northwest of Talvogtei , a former moated castle and today's Town Hall, northwest on the parcel "tall herb" of the community Kirchzarten in Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg .

The history of the castle is completely unknown to this day, nothing of the former castle complex has survived, it can only be seen today in the aerial photograph. Another similar castle site is located about 500 meters southeast in the Hagenmatten corridor, see Kirchzarten Castle (Hagenmatten) .
