The castle Wildenau is an Outbound lowland castle in the district Rübgarten the municipality Pliezhausen in the district of Reutlingen in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle, whose former owners are the Knights of Wildenau, was mentioned in 1232 and destroyed around 1406 at the time of the local rule of the Volen von Wildenau . In 1406 two brothers, the Volen von Wildenau, had a disgusting argument. The older one had the castle and did not want to give the younger one anything, but said he should talk to wars. The younger brother therefore sued the older one at the court court in Rottweil , but the older one ignored the command; then the latter called the town of Rottweil for help, and received crew and artillery from them, with which he drove the older one away and completely destroyed the castle.

In 1302 the hamlet of Wildenau in Reichenbach was mentioned.
