The Postal Fischbach , also Vischbach called, is a Outbound hilltop castle on 528 m above sea level. NN in the Oberfischbach district of the municipality of Oepping in the Rohrbach district of Upper Austria .
history
The facility was the headquarters of the Fischbeck (Fischbacher), these can then be traced from around 1440 in the Linz area and later in Vorchdorf as the keeper of the Wallsee lordship of Eggenberg .
The first Fischbacher known by name is Albrant de Visbach around 1170, and Einwicus de Vischpac appears in 1190 . In 1209 Ainwicus de Vischpach is mentioned cum filio suo chunrado ; 1261 Heinrick Fischbäk, Ulricus and Albertus de Fischbach . 1302 Wernhardus vispech attests to a Schlägler certificate. In 1359 Irmfried, Charl and Stephan sold the visvhpechken to Chunrat den Grozhaubt, the fiefdom of Höchenperg. In 1376, Philipp der Stawffenperger sold the already lost seat, the Hof ze Vischpach and the Purkchstal there , to Y (U) dung Herleinsperger.
Burgstall Fischbach today
The earth substructure of the Vischbach headquarters is located in the Bruck- or Burgholz near the Hofbauer farm about 0.4 km south of Oberfischbach; it is still well preserved today. The facility consists of the local mountain of the former Fischbach headquarters with a core plant in the form of a truncated pyramid. It is not a listed building.
