Walda Castle Stables

The Postal Walda is an Outbound castle on a site between the Mill Lane and the Schlossweg on the northeastern outskirts of Walda , in the municipality of Ehekirchen in Neuburg-Schrobenhausen in Bavaria .

The castle, probably built by the lords of Kirchheimer or Kirchamer in the 15th century, was destroyed in 1632 during the Thirty Years' War .

From the former castle on a medieval 1.5 meter high castle hill with a diameter of 35 meters and surrounded by a moat (possibly a water castle ), rubble and foundation walls are still preserved underground .
