Burgweg 10 (Braunfels)
The building at Burgweg 10 in Braunfels , a town in the Lahn-Dill district in Hesse , was built in 1667. The half-timbered house is a protected architectural monument .
description
According to an inscription, Count Heinrich Trajektin zu Solms-Braunfels donated the timber for the building in 1667, which was initially used as a brewery . A half-timbered upper floor and an attic stand on a high basement on the slope. The upper floor of the street-side gable front protrudes on short struts . The house is decorated with rich decorations on corner posts and head angles.
A plaque reminds us that Friederike Fliedner , co-founder of Diakonie in Germany, was born here in 1800 .
