The Burning Brides (dt. Burning Brides ) are an American hard rock band with heavy metal Bonds, the beginning of 1999 in Philadelphia was founded by Dimitri Coats and his future wife Melanie Campbell after this the Juilliard School had completed and had traveled the country for some time. In Mike Ambs they found a drummer to complement the band structure and in May 1999 the Burning Brides played their first big concert as the opening act for the Queens of the Stone Age . The group quickly became popular locally, which eventually earned them a record deal with the File Thirteen Records label .

On April 17, 2001, the Burning Brides released their first album, Fall of the Plastic Empire , which did well, so it was re-released in 2002 by V2 Records . The New Musical Express gave the album 5 out of 5 points. Appearances as opening act for the band ... And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead follow. On June 29, 2004, the band's second album, Leave No Ashes, was released. Overall, this wasn't as successful as the previous album, but included the band's biggest hit, Heart Full of Black . This song was also used in the hit video games Guitar Hero and Burnout 3 . In the same year a tour with A Perfect Circle follows . In 2006 they played concerts as support for Eagles of Death Metal and Peaches .
