Buschdorf ( Luxembourgish Bëschdref ) is a small district in the municipality of Helperknapp (until 2017 Böwingen / Attert ) in the canton of Mersch in eastern Luxembourg . In 2012 the village had 478 inhabitants.
Buschdorf was an independent municipality until 1822. By royal decree of June 12, 1822, Buschdorf was attached to the municipality of Böwingen. In the last decade numerous new buildings have been built in Buschdorf; the image of the place has changed a lot.
