Butte aux Gorzeaux
La Butte aux Gorzeaux (or the Tumulus des Corseaux, also called “Sépultures mégalithiques à Saint-Joachim”) is a group of megaliths on a hill (butte) at “Le Chemin du Bois”, west of Saint-Joachim , east of Saint -Lyphard , in the middle of the nature reserve La Brière ( French Parc naturel régional de Brière ) in the Loire-Atlantique department in France .
The complex, known as the dolmen , cannot be identified in more detail, and has been protected as a Monument historique since 1981 .
Nearby are the “Cairn funéraire” and the “Enclos funéraire” of Saint-Joachim, the “Ensemble mégalithique sur la Petite Butte des Roches” and the “Ensemble préhistorique sur l'îlot de la Butte aux Pierres”.
