Bwisi (also Ibwisi and Mbwisi) is a Bantu language and is spoken by around 4250 people in the Republic of the Congo and Gabon (2000 census).

It is widespread in the Republic of the Congo in the Niari region in the Kibangou district with around 3020 speakers and in Gabon in the Nyanga province around Ndende on the border with the Republic of the Congo with around 1230 speakers.

Bwisi is a northwest Bantu language and belongs to the Sira group , which is classified as Guthrie Zone B40.
