Sangu (also Chango, Isangu, Shango, Yisangou and Yisangu) is a Bantu language and is spoken by around 20,900 members of the Masangu in Gabon (2000 census).

It is widespread in the province of Ngounié around Mimongo and Iboundji .

classification

Barama is a Northwest Bantu language and belongs to the Sira group , which is classified as Guthrie Zone B40.
