Niari is a department of the Republic of the Congo with the capital Dolisie .

geography

The department is located in the south of the country and borders Gabon to the north and northwest , the Lékoumou department to the northeast, the Bouenza department to the southeast, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Angolan enclave of Cabinda to the south, and the Kouilou department to the southwest .
