The Byrecleuch Burn is a stream in Dumfries and Galloway . It arises in the south of the Scawd Bank and flows first in a westerly direction and from the mouth of the Hare Grain in a southerly direction to its confluence with the Tarras Water east of the hamlet of Lodgegill .
