CM Brakl (around 1850/1860 - after 1907) was an Austrian theater actor , singer , director and theater director .

Life

Not much is known about Brakl, the brother of the actors Adolf and Franz Josef Brakl . He was engaged at the Carl-Schultze-Theater in Hamburg , at the Carltheater and at the Theater an der Wien in Vienna, as well as at the Residenztheater in Dresden , partly as an operetta buffo , partly for comic roles.

In 1898/99 he was in charge of the Landshut City Theater , was in charge of directing and was also director of the Göggingen-Augsburg summer theater. At the same time, he applied to run the Klagenfurt City Theater , to whose ensemble he had belonged years earlier. The German Stage Yearbook for 1907 lists him as an operetta buffo and a former theater director and stage director, who lives at Klenzestrasse 52 in Munich.
