The Club Deportiu Terrassa is a traditional club from the 28-km north-west of Barcelona situated Catalan city of Terrassa , stands out for its hockey is known Department. In 1910, a group of young men from Ateneu Calasanci founded the first hockey club in Catalonia and Spain under the name Lawn Hoquei Klub Calassanç . On June 2, 1912, he played his first game against Espanyol Barcelona . In 1915 the club joined Terrassa FC , then became independent again in 1920 as the Terrassa Hoquei Club and took on its current name during the civil war . In 1926 the club won the Catalan Championship for the first time and the first Spanish Championship in 1933, the beginning of a long list of successes.
