The CMA CGM 20,600 TEU type is a series of 3 container ships operated by the French shipping company CMA CGM .
history
The ships were ordered in April 2015. They are being built at the Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction shipyard in Subic , Philippines . Construction began on February 8, 2016 with the cutting of the first steel plate of the type ship. The ships have been delivered since January 2018. The CMA CGM Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was christened on September 6, 2018 in Le Havre .

Others
The CMA CGM Antoine de Saint Exupery moored in the port of Hamburg for the first time on March 15, 2018 and was the largest container ship that had called this port until then. The visit to the ship was reported in most of the major German media.
