Confederación de Estudiantes de Chile
Confederación de Estudiantes de Chile (short: Confech ; German "Confederation of Chilean Students") is the national student organization of Chile . It brings together student organizations from most of the country's universities.
Education protests 2011
In 2011, Confech organized protests for reforms in the social and educational system . The protests were led by the then geography student Camila Vallejo from the Universidad de Chile . She also represented the student movement in negotiations with the government.
