The Cabane d'Orny , also known as the Ornyhütte , is an alpine hut in the Swiss canton of Valais . It was built in 1893 and then had 33 seats. The foundations are still visible today. It was rebuilt in 1975 and has 90 beds. The hut is owned by the Diablerets (Lausanne) section of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC). It is the starting point for high-altitude tours in the Swiss part of the Mont Blanc massif . For hikers it can be reached from Champex or Combe d'Orny.
