The Cabo Serrat ( Spanish , in Argentina Cabo Vazquez ) is a cape on the Graham Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the south side of the Kiev Peninsula , it protrudes 5 km southeast of Cape Pérez into the Beascochea Bay .

Chilean scientists named it after the Chilean meteorologist Javier Serrat from the Universidad de Chile , who worked as an electrical engineer at the McMurdo station from 1967 to 1968 as a participant in the 22nd Chilean Antarctic Expedition .
