The Cabo Tambor ( Spanish ) is a cape in the east of the Adelaide Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is north of Sorge Island , south-southeast of Hansen Island and northeast of Mount Bodys, and marks the transition from the Tickle Channel to The Gullet to the west .
Argentine scientists named it. The further naming background has not been passed down.
