The Cabrera nunatak is a nunatak in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . It rises 11 km northeast of Putzke Peak in the McCuddin Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the Nunatak in 1974 after Quirino Cabrera (1936-2015), a belly mechanic at Byrd Station in the years 1966 and 1969.
