The Caima ( Portuguese Rio Caima ) is a right (northern) tributary of the Vouga . It flows through the Aveiro district in Portugal .
The Caima rises in the Arouca district near the municipality of Albergaria da Serra . The Frecha da Mizarela waterfall lies in its headwaters . About two kilometers above the town of Vale de Cambra , the Caima is dammed up into a small reservoir by the Burgães dam.
About two kilometers from the small town of Albergaria-a-Velha , the Caima flows into the Vouga .
