The Rio Vouga is a river in Portugal . The river has its source in the Serra da Lapa between Aguiar da Beira and Sernancelhe at an altitude of 864  m . It flows through the Região Centro from east to west over a length of 148 kilometers until it flows into the Atlantic at Aveiro . The right tributaries are Caima , Rio Mau and Rio Sul , the only left tributary is the Rio Águeda .
