The Caleta Carrasco ( Spanish , in Argentina Caleta La Vuelta ) is a 1.3 km wide and 1.4 km long bay on the northwest side of Wiencke Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 2.5 km south of Cabo Laure on Anvers Island .
Chilean scientists named it after Adolfo Carrasco Lagos, captain of the Yelcho in the 28th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1973–1974). The background of the Argentine naming is not known.
