Calixto Paulino Esono Abaga Obono (born March 17, 1969 in Ebang-Zomo , Equatorial Guinea ) is an Equatorial Guinean clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Evinayong .
Life
Calixto Paulino Esono Abaga Obono received on 22 December 2000, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On April 1, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him the first bishop of Evinayong. The Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Cardinal Fernando Filoni , ordained him episcopal as well as Juan Domingo-Beka Esono Ayang CMF and Miguel Angel Nguema Bee SDB on May 20th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Malabo , Juan Nsue Edjang Mayé , and the Bishop of Bata , Juan Matogo Oyana CMF. The inauguration took place on May 21, 2017.
