Callum Smith (born October 12, 1992 in Bristol ) is a British cross-country skier .

Career

Smith has competed in FIS cross-country skiing competitions since 2008 . He ran his first World Cup race in January 2011 in Otepää , which he finished classically with 75th place over 15 km. His best results at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo were 70th place over 15 km classic and 15th place with the relay. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme , he finished 69th in the skiathlon . His best result at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi was 62nd place in sprint and skiathlon. In February 2017 he came in at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti on the 73rd place in the sprint, on the 57th place over 15 km classic and on the 53rd place in the 50 km mass start race. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he ran to 75th place in the 15 km freestyle, 57th place in the skiathlon and 54th place in the 50 km mass start race.
