Cameron Donald (born September 28, 1977 in Melbourne ) is an Australian motorcycle racer who mainly takes part in road races .
Career and life
Donald took part in speedway events in the late 1990s and won the regional championship in Victoria several times . At the beginning of the millennium, he increasingly concentrated on road racing and took part in the relatively few events of this kind in Asia, such as the Macau Grand Prix . The breakthrough was denied him.
From 2005 he mainly competed in the European racing series. His start to the North West 200 ended with an accident and the fracture of his collarbone . In 2008 he was able to achieve a double victory at the Isle of Man TT on Suzuki . He has been working alongside Bruce Anstey in the Monster Engergy Team on Norton factory machines since 2013 , where he has been replacing John McGuinness since 2015 .
During the season Donald lives in Northern Ireland .
