The Camfield River is a river in the northwest of the Australian Territory of Northern Territory . Often it has little or no water in the dry season .

geography

River course

The river arises in low sand hills at a height of 210 m about 50 km south of Kalkarindji at the confluence of Elsie Creek and Barry Creek . It initially flows to the northeast and turns its course to the northwest after about 100 km. It crosses the Buntine Highway and flows a few kilometers further through the Camfield settlement . Approx. 18 km south of Pigeon Hole , east of Gregory National Park , it flows into the Victoria River .
