Camille Lecointre (born February 25, 1985 in Harfleur ) is a French sailor .

successes

Camille Lecointre took part in the Olympic Games in London in 2012 and in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 in the 470 dinghy . In 2012, she and Mathilde Géron just missed winning a medal in fourth place, one point behind third place. With 62 points, she finished the regatta with Hélène Defrance in third place behind the British and New Zealand boats in 2016 and thus won the bronze medal. At world championships , Lecointre and Defrance first won the silver medal in the 470 dinghy in Haifa in 2015 , before they won the title in San Isidro the following year . In 2013 and 2019 she also became European Champion.

For the bronze medal at the Olympic Games, she received the Knight's Cross of the Ordre national du Mérite on November 30, 2016 .
