Támara Echegoyen Domínguez (born February 17, 1984 in Ourense ) is a Spanish sailor .
successes
Támara Echegoyen took part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London with Sofía Toro and Ángela Pumariega as crew members in the boat class Elliott 6m after she became European champion in this boat class in 2011. In the regatta held in the match race , the Spanish boat qualified third in the group stage for the quarter-finals. After a victory against France, the Russian boat was also beaten in the semi-finals before they beat the Australians 3-2 in the final, so that Echegoyen, Toro and Pumariega became Olympic champions . The following year she was part of the Spanish crew in Busan that won the World Cup. Echegoyen then switched to the 49erFX boat class , in which she achieved further successes. She was world champion in Clearwater in 2016 and Geelong in 2020 . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , she just missed winning a medal in fourth.
