Sofía Toro Prieto-Puga (born August 19, 1990 in A Coruña ) is a Spanish sailor .
successes
Sofía Toro took part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London with Ángela Pumariega as a crew member of helmsman Támara Echegoyen in the boat class Elliott 6m . In the regatta held in the match race , the Spanish boat qualified third in the group stage for the quarter-finals. After beating France, the Russian boat was also beaten in the semifinals, before beating the Australians 3-2 in the final, making Toro, Pumariega and Echegoyen Olympic champions . The following year she was also part of the Spanish crew in Busan that won the World Cup. In 2011 she was European champion in the Elliott.
