Hélène Defrance (born August 11, 1986 in Clamart ) is a French sailor .
successes
Hélène Defrance took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the 470 dinghy with Camille Lecointre . With 62 points they finished the regatta in third place behind the British and New Zealand boats and thus won the bronze medal. At world championships the two won the silver medal in the 470 dinghy in Haifa in 2015 , before the two succeeded in winning the title in San Isidro the following year . In 2010 she also became European champion.
For the bronze medal at the Olympic Games, she received the Knight's Cross of the Ordre national du Mérite on November 30, 2016 .
