Camp Hill is a municipality ( borough ) in Cumberland County in the US state of Pennsylvania with about 7,500 inhabitants on an area of ​​6 km² .

history

The place was settled from 1750 and was first called White Hill before the American Civil War . On June 30, 1863, the Battle of Sporting Hill , the northernmost of the entire Civil War, took place here as part of the Gettysburg campaign . On November 10, 1885, Camp Hill was officially established.
