The Camp Municipal del Collao ( Valencian : Camp Municipal del Collao , Spanish : Campo Municipal del Collao , mostly just El Collao ) is a football stadium in the Spanish city of Alcoy , Autonomous Community of Valencia . It is the home ground of the CD Alcoyano football club .
history
The stadium was built in 1921, making it one of the oldest in the country. In 1945 the main stand on the west side of the stadium was roofed over for the first ascent of the home club into the Primera División , characteristic of the fourteen thin columns that support the roof structure. The largest expansion took place in 2007 when the east stand was renovated and enlarged. The stadium has 4,850 seats for visitors.
